£9,250**- UK/EU students

The School operates a Fee Policy. Please see the Tuition Fee Policy on the Student Handbook page.
Despite NSCD not accepting applications via UCAS, we are a Higher Education Institution and our undergraduate students are entitled to the same financial assistance as students at UK Universities. This support includes government-sponsored loans and grants.
Eligible UK and EU students are able to apply for a tuition fee loan to pay for fees and a maintenance loan to contribute towards living costs. Further details regarding eligibility and how to apply can be found at www.gov.uk/apply-online-for-student-finance
For those paying their fees by tuition fee loan should ensure that the loan has been approved by Student Finance England or its equivalent prior to the start of the course.
Note Regarding EU students for 2018 to 2019
HEFCE welcomes the confirmation from the Government that European Union (EU) students will continue to remain eligible for undergraduate, masters, postgraduate and advanced learner financial support in the academic year 2018 to 2019.

Information about the variety of financial support available for BA (Hons) applicants can be found through the Conservatoire Scholarship Scheme (pdf).
The Conservatoire offers a range of Scholarships for the BA (Hons). If you wish to be considered for a Conservatoire Scholarship, please indicate this on your application to NSCD. The Conservatoire uses household income data from Student Finance England to determine the level of Scholarship support. In addition, students can apply for income assessments from Student Finance England even if you are not eligible for a loan.
Payment of the Scholarships are paid at the end of each academic year and are subject to continual student attendance on the course.
Many students at NSCD supplement living expenses by undertaking part-time work. This is fairly easy to come by in Leeds, and some work for students is offered by the School itself.
Northern School of Contemporary Dance does not have student accommodation connected to the school but we do facilitate a House Hunting Day and provide support and useful contacts for you to use when arranging your accommodation.

This course is specifically designed for the education and training of professional contemporary dance artists, performers, choreographers and artist facilitators.
NSCD’s Student Services department is a one stop shop for all students, and aims to be students’ first point of call for all enquiries. These enquiries may range from timetabling, accommodation, safeguarding and attendance.
